๐Ÿ“–About This App

Device Info shows the real specs behind your phone or tablet across nine dedicated tabs: model and manufacturer, CPU speed, RAM and storage usage, display resolution and density, battery level and charging state, Wi-Fi connection details, and live readings from onboard sensors such as the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer. A built-in Security Check reports your security patch level, screen-lock status, storage encryption state and whether the device shows signs of tampering (root or jailbreak), using the same check on Android and iOS. Quick Settings shortcuts jump straight to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, sound, location and other system panels instead of digging through your phone's settings app. A separate Insights page tracks which shortcuts you use most, builds a device snapshot, and lets you copy or share a report; free accounts get a limited number of report passes, and Pro removes that limit. The interface is available in 14 languages with a choice of color themes. Every reading comes straight from Android or iOS system APIs, so exact values and available sensors vary by device, manufacturer and OS version.

๐ŸงญHow It Works

  1. 1Open any of the nine tabs to see live readings for model, CPU, RAM, storage, display, battery, Wi-Fi or sensors.
  2. 2Run the Security Check tab for your patch level, screen-lock status, encryption state and root/jailbreak detection.
  3. 3Use the Quick Settings shortcuts to jump straight to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, sound or location panels.
  4. 4Not sure what a reading means? See how much RAM your phone has or what sensors it reports.
  5. 5For settings shortcuts and on-demand diagnostics in one dashboard, see My Device Settings.

โš ๏ธLimitations

  • Android and iOS don't expose a marketing processor name to apps, so the CPU tab shows clock speed rather than a model name; detailed CPU frequency ranges are an Android-only reading.
  • Battery detail fields beyond level and charging state โ€” health, technology, temperature and voltage โ€” are Android-only.
  • Which sensors appear depends on your device's hardware; not every phone reports every sensor.
  • No IMEI, SIM serial number or phone number is read or shown.

โ“Frequently Asked Questions

What information does Device Info show?

Nine tabs covering device model and manufacturer, CPU speed, RAM, storage, display resolution, battery level, Wi-Fi connection, onboard sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and more) and a security check (patch level, screen lock, encryption, tamper detection).

Does the app show my exact processor model name?

It reports CPU clock speed as read from the operating system. Android and iOS don't expose a marketing processor name to apps, so that specific label isn't shown.

Is my Wi-Fi connection info shown?

Yes, the Wi-Fi tab shows your current connection details as reported by the OS. Accuracy depends on your device, OS version and network.

What does the Security Check actually look at?

Your device's security patch level, whether a screen lock is enabled, storage encryption status, and signs the device has been rooted or jailbroken. The same check runs on Android and iOS.

Which sensors can I see?

Any sensor your device reports to the OS, commonly the accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and orientation sensor. The exact list depends on your phone's hardware; not every device reports every sensor.

How accurate are the storage, RAM and battery numbers?

They're read directly from Android/iOS system APIs at the moment you open the tab, so they reflect that instant's device-reported values rather than an average over time.

Can I share or export my device info?

Yes. The Insights page lets you copy or share a generated device report. Free accounts get a limited number of report passes; Pro removes that limit.

Is my device data sent anywhere?

The device readings you see in the app, model, storage, battery and sensor data, are processed on your device and are not uploaded anywhere to generate them. The app does use standard analytics to understand feature usage, as described in our privacy policy.

Is Device Info free?

Yes, the app is free to download and use. An optional Pro upgrade removes the limit on Insights report passes.

How do I contact support?
