Scan for nearby networks and see each one's signal strength, security type and channel details, then check a live overview of your own connection with a Wi-Fi Insights report covering encryption, signal classification, link speed and basic network info, plus practical recommendations such as moving closer to the router or avoiding an open network. On the same Wi-Fi network, a connected-devices scan sweeps the local subnet to list reachable devices by IP address and, where available, hostname. Review your IP details (internal and public address, gateway, DNS) and save networks for fast reconnect. Scanning nearby networks requires Android's standard location permission, which this app does not use for tracking. The Wi-Fi Insights report is a free preview or unlocked by watching a short ad, with Pro removing that limit. The app shows ads and uses analytics to improve the product; your Wi-Fi scan results and device list are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Yalintech servers.

What does the Wi-Fi scanner show about nearby networks?
For each network in range it shows the name (SSID), signal strength, whether it's password-protected, and channel width. It does not show passwords for networks you aren't connected to.
Can this app find the best Wi-Fi channel for my router?
No. The app shows channel width for networks it detects during a scan, but it does not run a dedicated channel-congestion analysis or recommend a specific channel for your router.
Can I see every device that has ever connected to my router?
No. The Connected-Device Finder scans the address range of the Wi-Fi network your phone is currently on and lists devices that respond at that moment. It cannot see devices on other networks or a router's full connection history, and some devices won't respond to the scan or won't report a readable device name.
Does the app show Wi-Fi passwords?
No. The app cannot reveal the password of a network you haven't already saved on your own phone.
What connection information can I check?
Your current network's internal and public IP address, gateway, DNS servers, network ID, signal strength, link speed and security type.
Why is my Wi-Fi Insights report showing a weak signal warning?
A low signal reading usually means you're far from the router or there are walls or interference in the way. The report suggests moving closer to the router as one of its recommendations.
Why does the app ask for location permission to scan Wi-Fi?
On Android, scanning for nearby Wi-Fi networks requires the location permission as an OS-level requirement, because network names can reveal approximate location. The app uses this permission only to perform the scan.
Do I need to pay to use the app?
The core scanner, connection details and device finder are free. The Wi-Fi Insights report can be unlocked by watching a short ad; a Pro upgrade removes that step.
Is my network data uploaded anywhere?
Scan results and the list of devices found on your network are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Yalintech servers. The app does show ads and uses analytics to help improve it.
