📖About This Product

Taskgrove is a shared task board for teams that work with clients. A workspace holds boards, lists and cards, and teammates, contractors and clients can all be invited onto the same board instead of keeping a separate client-facing copy. Owner, admin and member roles can create and edit boards, lists and cards, while a client or any outside collaborator can be invited as an observer, a read-only seat that can view the workspace without changing anything. A free workspace includes up to 5 active boards with up to 1,000 cards each and up to 5 members, with no credit card required while Taskgrove is in early access; nothing is currently charged on any workspace. Taskgrove also runs an MCP server, so Claude and other AI assistants can connect to a workspace's boards and cards within the same role permissions as the member who connects them. Boards and cards are stored and synced through Firebase, so a workspace stays current across every signed-in member's devices rather than living only on one device.

✨Why Choose Taskgrove?

Work Together in One Workspace

Bring teammates, contractors and clients onto the same boards instead of exporting screenshots or hand-maintaining a separate client copy.

Give Clients a Read-Only Seat

Invite a client as an observer so they can see progress on the workspace's boards without being able to edit, move or delete anything.

Free to Start

Create a workspace free, with up to 5 active boards, 1,000 cards per board and 5 members. No credit card required while Taskgrove is in early access.

Priced by Workspace, Not by Seat

Taskgrove is being built to charge per workspace rather than per person, so adding a contractor or a client is not another paid seat. Nothing is currently charged.

Works With Claude Over MCP

Connect Claude or another AI assistant to a workspace through Taskgrove's MCP server, scoped to the same role permissions as the member who connects it.

Lists and Cards for Everyday Work

Break work into lists and cards, move cards between stages, and keep a record of a board's activity as work progresses.

Can an observer comment on cards?

No. An observer can view a workspace's boards and cards but cannot add comments, edit cards or move them.

Who can edit boards and cards in a workspace?

Owner, admin and member roles can create and edit boards, lists and cards. The observer role is read-only.

Does Taskgrove charge per seat?

Can I connect Taskgrove to Claude or another AI assistant?

Yes. Taskgrove runs an MCP server that lets Claude and other AI assistants connect to a workspace's boards and cards, within the same role permissions as the member who connects it.

Where is my workspace data stored?

Taskgrove stores boards, cards and workspace data in Firebase rather than only on your device, so the same workspace stays in sync for every invited member.

What happens when I reach a free workspace's limits?

Creating a new board, member or card beyond the current free limits is blocked until you free up room, for example by archiving a board or removing a member. Paid plans with higher limits are planned but not yet live.

Can I use Taskgrove on my phone?
