📖About This App

Nobody gets squashed in Mochi Ninjas. The Grumpkins are not evil, they are just sour. Bop one and it goes pink, cheers up, and falls in behind you. Do it again and again, and what started as a lone little ninja becomes a parade. Pick from four ninjas — Matcha spins, Momo dashes, Yuzu throws a puff star, Kuro pounds the ground — and take on seven kinds of Grumpkin, none of which fall the same way. Every strike in the game has something it simply cannot beat, so working out who counters what is the puzzle underneath the platforming. Move, jump, strike: that is the whole control scheme. Plays offline, with no account and no sign-up.

✨Why Choose Mochi Ninjas?

Nobody Gets Squashed

The Grumpkins are not evil, they are just sour. Bop one and it goes pink, cheers up, and falls in behind you.

Pick Your Ninja

Matcha spins. Momo dashes. Yuzu throws a puff star. Kuro pounds the ground. Swap at any moment.

Work Out The Counter

A Roller has to hit a wall first. A Hatbean hides under its hat. A Sprout will not be reached from above.

Sugar Rush

Golden presents hide the one move that answers all seven. Go gold, go untouchable — while it lasts.

Four Places, Not Four Skins

A bamboo path, a blossom orchard, a cold ridge and a dusk grove. Different ground, creatures, and sky.

Built For One Thumb

Move, jump, strike. Hold the jump to go higher, hold it on the way down to float.

đŸ› ī¸Key Features

Bop, Don't Stomp

There is no combat in Mochi Ninjas. A bopped Grumpkin turns pink, cheers up, and joins the parade trailing behind you — the longer your run, the longer the parade.

Four Ninjas, One Moveset

Matcha, Momo, Yuzu and Kuro all move the same way, so switching never means relearning the jump. Only the strike changes — a spin, a dash, a thrown puff star, or a ground pound.

A Counter Puzzle Under The Platforming

Seven kinds of Grumpkin — Sourling, Hopper, Roller, Hatbean, Puffer, Sprout and Bloop — and every strike has something it simply cannot beat. Reading the creature is half the level.

Sugar Rush

Golden presents hide the one move that answers all seven Grumpkins at once. Sweeten everything you run straight through, for as long as it lasts.

Four Distinct Worlds

The Bamboo Path, a blossom orchard, a cold ridge and a dusk grove — each with its own ground, its own creatures and its own sky.

One-Thumb Platforming

Move, jump, strike — that is the entire control scheme. Hold the jump to go higher, and hold it on the way down to float into a landing.

Offline, No Account

Plays fully offline. No account, no sign-up, and no leaderboard chasing you. All progress stays on your device.

❓Frequently Asked Questions

When is Mochi Ninjas released?

Mochi Ninjas is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. This page will be updated with download links the moment it goes live.

Is there any fighting or violence?

No. Nobody gets squashed in Mochi Ninjas. The Grumpkins are not evil, they are just sour — bop one and it turns pink, cheers up, and falls in behind you.

Who are the four ninjas?

Matcha spins, Momo dashes, Yuzu throws a puff star, and Kuro pounds the ground. All four move identically, so switching never means relearning the jump — only the strike changes, and you can swap at any moment.

Why can't I beat a particular Grumpkin?

Because every strike in the game has something it cannot beat. A Roller has to hit a wall before it will listen, a Hatbean hides under its hat, a Sprout will not be reached from above, and a Puffer floats out of the way. Working out who counters what is the puzzle underneath the platforming.

What is Sugar Rush?

Golden presents hide the one move that answers all seven kinds of Grumpkin. While it lasts you go gold, go untouchable, and sweeten everything you run straight through.

How do the controls work?

Move, jump, strike — that is the whole control scheme, designed for one thumb. Hold the jump to go higher, and hold it on the way down to float.

Is Mochi Ninjas suitable for younger players?

It is built that way. There is no combat and nothing gets hurt — the entire premise is cheering sour creatures up rather than defeating them.

Does Mochi Ninjas need an internet connection?

No. The game plays fully offline. Internet is only used for ads and crash reporting.

Is an account required?

No account and no sign-up. All progress, settings, and your chosen ninja are stored locally on your device.

What is included in the first release?

Four ninjas, seven kinds of Grumpkin, and the first four levels of the Bamboo Path.
