A rotating dial shows your current heading in degrees along with the direction name (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW), and you can share your current reading with one tap. An optional Compass Insights panel adds a magnetic stability and interference analysis to help you judge how reliable the current reading is — unlock it for free by watching a short video, spend a pass, or get unlimited access with Pro. Beyond the compass itself, the app bundles a small set of everyday tools in one place: Battery status, a Metal Detector, a Flashlight and a Screen Light, all reachable from the same Tools tab. Compass Insights is explicitly informational and not a professional navigation tool, and the heading is based on the phone's magnetometer rather than GPS, so it can be affected by nearby metal or magnetic interference like the phone case or electronics.
